"We live in one of the richest countries in the world. How do we put this wealth to work to solve pressing problems?"

Felix Oldenburg, CEO bcause

Felix Oldenburg, CEO bcause

I am a startup founder, social entrepreneur, foundation expert, currently CEO of bcause and board member of gut.org. I live with my children in Berlin and am committed to a society that solves problems faster, more collaboratively, and digitally.

Vision

We live in one of the richest countries in the world. Nevertheless, there is a shortage of money everywhere to tackle urgent problems that will only become more expensive for all of us over time. We want to mobilize billions in private donations and investments to finance solutions - directly, collectively, and digitally.

Das Neue Geben makes it easier for everyone, no matter how much more they want and are able to contribute - with practical information, an inspiring network, and with the foundation platform bcause. This is how we bring donating into the 21st century and out of its niche transparently into the center of society.

New release

Der gefesselte Wohlstand

Where the billions lie with which we can improve the world.

This is what Felix Oldenburg explores in his book - on a journey of discovery and a story of revelation about wealthy people, who are often very different from their stereotype.

"The best reading for a generation that needs to rethink wealth."

Verena Pausder, Chairwoman of the German Startups Association

“A compelling plea for a new understanding of generosity.”

Prof. Dr. Ann-Kristin Achleitner, multi-supervisory board member and investor
