Updates
We are constantly developing bcause. Find out what's new here: new features, improvements, and latest updates.
From now on, you can group organizations that are close to your heart into portfolios — freely nameable collections that make donating to multiple causes much easier.
Create a portfolio: Group any organizations under a name of your choice (e.g., "Climate Protection", "Local Community", or "Donation Plan 2026").
Support a portfolio all at once: Donate to all organizations in a portfolio in a single donation process, instead of selecting each one individually.
Freely edit and rename: Add or remove organizations at any time, and rename your portfolio whenever your focus changes.
This is the first step towards an easier organization of your causes. More portfolio features will follow.

With immediate effect, Professional users can reach a personal advisor directly via the dashboard – without any detours.
What is new:
Personal contact person directly visible in the dashboard, reachable on weekdays
Get in touch via phone call, email, or by scheduling an appointment at a convenient time
Clear overview of availability thanks to online status
Why this is important: Complex giving raises individual questions that cannot always be resolved via self-service. With this update, we combine digital excellence with human expertise: in the future, Professional users can discuss special requests personally and in-depth – completely according to their own schedule.

From now on, you can create your own donation button in the toolbox of your donation account – completely without code.
Here's how to do it: Open toolbox → Select the "Donation button with bcause" tile → Customize the button's color, size, and language → Copy the HTML and paste it onto your website.
With this, you can:
create a donation button for your website – completely without code
customize the color of the button to match your brand identity
choose the size of the button
set the language of the label
determine the target URL the button leads to
copy the finished HTML snippet and paste it directly into your CMS
Note: The editor does not save configurations – copy the HTML before you leave the page.
