Direct donation

A donation made directly from a person to an organization, without an intermediate platform or mediator. Direct donations are often faster and less complicated than via platforms, but can also be less transparent as the funds flow directly to the organization.

An example is when someone donates directly to the local food bank or a local non-profit project.
